Take the order. Feed the kitchen. Turn the table.
Platevio is a point of sale for cafés, bars and small restaurants. It runs in the browser on the phones and tablets your staff already carry.
No card needed. Nothing to install.
One order, end to end
-
11:52
Take the order at the table
Tap the item, add the extras, send it. No paper, no shouting across the room.
-
11:53
The kitchen has it
Every item lands on the kitchen screen with its notes. Cooked, served — one tap each way, and back again when a plate returns.
-
12:19
The table turns
Close the bill, print the receipt or skip it, and the table is ready for the next two covers.
What you get
-
Works on what you already own
Any phone, tablet or laptop with a browser. Nothing to install, no terminal to buy.
-
Built for venue wifi
Small pages and few requests, so it still loads on the signal at the back of the room.
-
Menus you can change mid-service
Add a dish, hide the one that ran out, move a price. Every device has it a second later.
-
Extras and notes reach the cook
Oat milk, extra shot, table six is in a hurry — it is all on the ticket, not in someone’s memory.
-
Kitchen status moves both ways
Mark an item cooked or served, and take it back when the plate comes back.
-
Everyone sees their own job
Owners, managers, waiters and cooks each get the part of the service that belongs to them.

Questions people ask first
- What does Platevio cost?
- Nothing right now. We are pre-launch, so the whole thing is free while we build it out with the venues using it.
- Do I need a card reader or a printer?
- No. Platevio runs in a browser, and you record a payment as cash or card from the device already in your hand.
- Does it work offline?
- It needs a connection to move an order to the kitchen. It is built light so it holds up on venue wifi, but it is not an offline system today.
- Can the whole team use it at once?
- Yes. Every device is looking at the same service, updated as it happens.
